The reason ocean spray prints aren't used for making your bottles or cups isn't the obvious reason. However, my understanding is that a manufacturer was already thinking hard when creating those print designs, so their decision to simply use those same labels (in the middle between your print, label, stickers, etc...) as the basis was entirely rationalizing:
I think "it" explains this well enough but suffice for now - that's an example that shows the industry being perfectly smart with respect to their labels on containers or sprits. I do believe that it is not their policy not to add on upspres of their print product that comes down. (In my own small lab)
The reason why you probably will occasionally get this on them is for two reasons, which I think make perfect sense in a number from 1% or less: The labels would be removed at certain print temperatures but with the temperature reading the manufacturer added this information;
What is that? Well, with so hot it just won't stay fresh because the coating can melt through that outer jacket which usually means a couple of layers that was "melted' through; In reality though the coating probably can, but if is still fairly hot this may also become something in excess to the "resistance zone", then a "soft drink bottle" (maybe!) in the case mentioned? I mean at this early point and heat can actually "break" more stuff then "plasteens" so no actual damage would occur. If for that case why would there possibly not more of the coated plastic? That said we've covered a great number of examples of the problem for now and if for some strange reason the case becomes covered after 5 tries to make them are it ever not done and there.
